The animal welfare we provide would not be possible without your support. We depend on your donations. Our budget planning is meticulous, target-oriented and absolutely transparent. We keep you up to date at all times and inform you about our projects via our newsletters, web news and social media.

To be a member of our organisation, you pay a regular fixed amount. The minimum amount for a one-year period is just € 3 per month.

We need your help to rescue animals in distress. Please support us and sponsor an animal!
Important: If you would like to sponsor an animal, please choose from those featured on the website of Hof Huppenhardt or in our members' magazine "Respektiere". We do of course notify you if the animal you sponsor should die or be placed in a good home and we gladly transfer your sponsorship to another animal in the sanctuary. The transfer is automatic if we do not receive instructions to the contrary. Please note that to arrange a sponsorship you must be over 18 years of age. Minors require parental consent.

Please choose the animal you wish to sponsor, the amount you wish to pay and frequency of payment (minimum donation € 5.00 / month).

If you're keen to help animals and improve animal welfare by getting actively involved, then read on. Our organisation, Europäischer Tier- und Naturschutz (ETN), comes to the aid of animals in distress. We need people like you to further increase our support. With your commitment we can save animals in need and improve legislation on animal conservation.
How you can help:
- Pass on the message: Distribute ETN's flyers and tell your friends, relatives and colleagues about ETN's work.
- Follow and like: Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, like and share our articles and news with your friends. You will mobilise more people to take an active interest in animal welfare.
- Sign and pass on: Sign our petition to achieve long-term improvements in animal welfare and pass it on to friends and acquaintances.
- Helping hands are always welcome. Join in our activities on site or with one of our partners.
- Get involved: Offer practical help with our campaigns or information stands.
- Tell your friends and family about your involvement and the opportunity to actively make a difference to animal welfare. Encourage them to speak out and champion the cause. Together we can achieve a great deal!

There are plenty of occasions to give a gift – a birthday, Christmas, a wedding or just spontaneously, for no specific reason. Why not give a meaningful and original gift to an animal lover and make a donation in their honour to animals in need. Or set up a sponsorship in their name for one of our rescued animals at Hof Huppenhardt.
Short of ideas for your wish list? Why not wish for a donation to animal welfare in general or to a favourite animal welfare project that you care about!
If you'd like to make a donation on behalf of an animal lover as a gift to them, it's very straightforward:
- On the bank transfer slip, indicate the name of the honouree, so that we can see in whose name the donation is being made.
- If the honouree is passionate about a specific project, you can collect donations for that particular project. Please indicate the project on the transfer slip to ensure that we only use the donations for the project of your choice.
- If you wish, we will send you a gift certificate to present to the honouree.

To appeal for donations to animal welfare in connection with a special occasion, inform your guests about your wish by mentioning it in the invitation and give the donation account number. Remind your guests to indicate their name on the payment slip so that we know who is making the donation.
Remembering animals in need in your last will and testament
Thinking ahead!
As an animal lover, are you concerned about making sure that your inheritance will go to the people and causes you want it to? Are you considering leaving a gift in your will to animal welfare? Read our recommendations below so that we can help you to fulfil your wishes.
It's important to make a will
If you want to ensure that your estate is used for a particular purpose when you die, you must make a will. In the absence of a will, the entire estate will automatically be distributed to your heirs in accordance with the law. If no heirs are found, it will go to the state. That is why it is important to make a will well in time. You should be the one to decide what should happen to your estate when you die!
Leaving a legacy to ETN
As an animal lover you can make sure that your money is used to benefit animals in distress even after you die, by leaving a legacy to Europäischer Tier- und Naturschutz e. V. in your will. If you'd like the donation to be used for a particular project or in a particular region, you can specify this in your will: ETN e. V. is legally obliged to use your legacy in accordance with your wishes.
For your will to be legally valid, certain rules must be observed. You also have to be of sound mind when the will is drawn up, otherwise there is a risk of it being contested later. If you are unsure, ask your doctor or solicitor to write and sign a statement certifying your mental competence.

The loss of a loved one is distressing. Often the bereaved wish to make a special gesture to honour and remember the deceased. If that person was an animal lover, a fitting gesture is to request donations for animals in need instead of flowers and wreaths, as a way of honouring their memory and offering a beacon of hope.
We would like to express our gratitude on behalf of the animals for the support shown for our important work at such a time of sorrow.
How do I organise a memorial donation?
Write in the obituary or the invitation to the funeral that you are requesting charity donations to animal welfare in honour of the person who has died. State the donation account and ask the person to give the name of the deceased so that we know in whose name the donation is being made.
- If the deceased cherished a particular project, you can collect donations for that specific project. We will only use the money donated on the project of your choice.
